Are you ready to jump into all grain brewing but not ready to spend the money on more equipment?

Brew in a bag, or BIAB, is an inexpensive and simple way to make all grain beer recipes. One of the most common home brewing set-ups consists of three vessels: One kettle to heat water in, one to conduct the mash in and another to boil wort and hops in.

The great thing about BIAB is that it requires only one kettle. That means there is less equipment to set up and a much faster clean up. And if you have been extract brewing, then you already have most of what you need to move into all grain brewing.

In this class, you’ll learn an intermediate level of brewing using a simple all-grain process. We will brew a complete 5-gallon all-grain batch of beer and everyone will participate in every step of the process. We will explain the benefits of all-grain vs extract. Review all the ingredients and equipment needed, as well as provide everything you need to know about different mashing temps, sparge options/techniques and water treatment. At the completion of this course, you will have all the knowledge that you need to confidently brew your own all-grain batch of beer.
